I have always loved motor boat rides. There's just something about going fast across the water with the wind wipping through your hair and the sun beating down (sounds nice, doesn't it?). Every year at camp we end up taking at least one boat ride on Grampie's boat- either for fishing or just to tour around the lake. This year the three of us had a wonderful boat ride with both Nonnie, Grampy, and cousin Brenna. At first the girls (too cute by the way in their little red life jackets) just kinda looked around in awe and enjoyed the ride. It wasn't long, however, before Lily decided that she needed to feel the water (she is our little water bug). So Joe and Grampy held the girls by their life jackets as we cruised slowly through the water and they enjoyed the spray over the side of the boat. What a fun morning!
