Just wanted to let everyone know that we are all back in Maine!! Lily and I flew back on Tuesday and Joe left the next day to drive 36 hours straight to get home to Maine. Yes, you heard me right- Joe drove the whole way straight (without stopping to sleep a single minute). He's either crazy or stubborn or both. Or maybe he just really missed Maine. Either way, we are all back and are currently on vacation with Joe's family (his parents rent out a house on a lake every year for a week).
So while we're not exactly home, we are close!
There is water everywhere we look.
The air is salty and thick.
We have had wild blueberries to put on our cereal in the morning.
Ahhhh....Maine.
