Every year Joe's parents rent a house/camp on a lake somewhere in Maine and the whole family comes together for a week. It's a week I look forward to every year. This year we were on Moose Pond and it was wonderful. We seemed to have got the best week of the summer so far with lots of nice weather and sun. This of course meant that most days we were in the water for at least some of the day. We learned that with a water ring and her water wings Lily is able to float around free on her own (with one of us right near her of course). This has been wonderful for her and for us- since we can all actually swim and enjoy the water without having to hold her constantly. And as you might imagine she loves the freedom! Here are a few pictures from our first day at camp- it was a little hazy that morning (as you can see)- but that didn't stop Joe, Lily, and our niece Maggie from enjoying the water!
