Eli had his first real bath a few days ago! His cord fell off after only 9 days so we were able to give him a real bath in his baby bathtub instead of just a sponge bath. This was a relief to me because he hated the sponge bath and I was not looking forward to giving him another one. Thankfully he really seemed to enjoy having a real bath. As soon as he got in the warm water he calmed down and was really quite happy (that is until we took him out of the bath)! What can I say- my babies like the water! I'm looking forward to giving him another one this afternoon!
