A Day in the Life of Liam- 9 Months!

Since Liam was born I feel like I have done a pretty good job of getting some great portraits of him each month, but I don't feel like I have done very well getting candid shots with him.  Our days are full and it's getting increasingly harder to just get out the camera in the moment.  So instead of doing a planned formal shoot for his 9th month I decided instead to chronicle a day in the life of our littlest man.  Enjoy...

9 Months (1 of 1) Daddy happened to be out of town this day so when Liam woke up super and unusually early I just brought him into bed with me to feed him and snuggle (and catch a few more winks of sleep). I do love waking up to this face... 9 Months2 (1 of 1) This little guy can find the smallest things anywhere...including a down feather in bed! 9 Months3 (1 of 1) 9 Months4 (1 of 1) 9 Months5 (1 of 1) 9 Months6 (1 of 1) 9 Months7 (1 of 1) Can you see those two adorable baby teeth in the front? Event his teeth are cute!:) 9 Months8 (1 of 1) 9 Months9 (1 of 1) 9 Months10 (1 of 1) 9 Months11 (1 of 1) 9 Months12 (1 of 1) He truly loves his big brother! 9 Months59 (1 of 1) 9 Months15 (1 of 1)
Breakfast (eating yogurt drops here)...it's fun watching him begin to eat new foods! 9 Months16 (1 of 1) 9 Months17 (1 of 1) 9 Months18 (1 of 1) And then we were on our way to drop Lily off with my friend Laura (her ride to school). 9 Months19 (1 of 1)
After getting home I was doing something in the kitchen and when I came back into the living room this is what I found (Eli had put this toy on his head)! He actually really seemed to enjoy it! 9 Months20 (1 of 1) 9 Months21 (1 of 1) 9 Months22 (1 of 1) 9 Months23 (1 of 1) 9 Months24 (1 of 1)
And then he found one of the kid's new paddles (really, I didn't give this to him, he found it on his own) and tried to eat it (because he will put ANYTHING in his mouth)! 9 Months25 (1 of 1) 9 Months26 (1 of 1) 9 Months27 (1 of 1) And after a little more play with his big brother it was nap time. 9 Months28 (1 of 1) He has become a really great napper (and I am so thankful)! 9 Months29 (1 of 1) 9 Months30 (1 of 1)
And after a good rest he was ready for some more play in his exesaucer. 9 Months31 (1 of 1) 9 Months32 (1 of 1) And then it was off again to pick up Lily from school...good thing he's a trooper in the car! 9 Months33 (1 of 1)
Lunch! 9 Months34 (1 of 1) Fingers are tasty too! 9 Months35 (1 of 1) More play! It was great this month to see him really be able to reliably sit on his own (such a great stage)! 9 Months36 (1 of 1) 9 Months37 (1 of 1) And after his afternoon nap we thought it would be fun to have Lily give him a bottle! Since he has been mostly nursed the kids never had much of an opportunity to feed him, and even now that we are supplementing him a little bit more we just didn't think of it until this day when I was wondering how I could get a picture of him eating (which he does often). Lily was a little hesitant at first, but she did great! 9 Months38 (1 of 1) 9 Months39 (1 of 1) 9 Months40 (1 of 1) 9 Months41 (1 of 1) He was done with his bottle, but Eli still wanted to hold him (and I had to promise I would let him feed Liam another time...which I still need to do)! 9 Months42 (1 of 1)
Then it was such a nice day that we went for a stroll/bike ride on the bike path near our house. 9 Months43 (1 of 1)
And played in the nearby woods and steam... 9 Months44 (1 of 1) 9 Months45 (1 of 1)
He loved playing outside with the leaves and pine needles! 9 Months46 (1 of 1)
His HAIR...there just aren't words! It wasn't even that windy on this day...his hair just did this naturally! I can't even tell you how much I love this! 9 Months47 (1 of 1) 9 Months48 (1 of 1) 9 Months49 (1 of 1) 9 Months50 (1 of 1) 9 Months51 (1 of 1) 9 Months52 (1 of 1) Melt. My. Heart. He is the sweetest thing ever! 9 Months53 (1 of 1) 9 Months54 (1 of 1)
And when we got back I had to get just a couple with his number. 9 Months55 (1 of 1) 9 Months56 (1 of 1) 9 Months57 (1 of 1) Dinner, Bath, Bottle, and Goodnight! It's a pretty good life!
