Go Away Ranger

Joe's parents came to visit us for a day while we were on project. They took us out for an incredible dinner at the Jordon Pond House. I can honestly say that the popover sundae (with hot fudge sauce and homemade mocha oreo ice cream) was one of the most incredible desserts ever. If you ever find yourself at the Jordon Pond House in Acadia National Park you must eat this dessert! After dinner, however, we ran into a few problems. Namely a park ranger that followed us through a decent part of the park until he pulled us over for speeding right before we were about to exit the park. Uggghhhh. Nothing like getting pulled over in a national park with both your children and your parents in a mini van. Sweet. Thankfully the park ranger was quite nice and just gave us a warning. A few minutes later, as we were driving home, Lily was reliving the story and said that the next time she would just say, "Go away ranger, go away." Ahhh...out of the mouths of babes.
