For Mothers Day this year Joe took me to Bar Harbor. We started off the morning with a late breakfast at Two Cats (one of my favorite resteraunts) and then we went to the Asticou Azalea Gardens in Northeast Harbor. The gardens were incredible...the beautiful flowers, the bright green grass and bushes, tranquil ponds, amazing landscape and structures, and even a sand garden...really beautiful. It had a very relaxing, Japanese feel. And to make the day even more special Joe let me take pictures to my heart's content (with not a single complaint from him)- and even took a few himself so that I could actually be in the pictures too!
