This year for Easter we decided to stay home (for the first time since we had kids)! Usually we go to our church in the morning and then drive down to spend the rest of the day with Joe's family. This year though my parents were here and Lily's birthday (and both birthday parties) were the day before Easter so we had a VERY full weekend. And thus we decided to just have a nice, relaxing holiday- the kid's looked for their Easter baskets in the morning, we did a (somewhat chilly) Easter egg hunt outside, enjoyed church, and then headed to The Lucerne Inn for a lovely brunch. And then we spent the rest of the day just being together, relaxing, and eating chocolate!:) And as you can see BOTH kids had a blast hunting Easter eggs this year. Lily was off and running as usual (that girl is an amazing egg hunger). It took Eli a bit longer to catch on, but once he did he was quite the little egg hunter himself!
